Highlights of the Muktinath Trek:

  • World's Famous Hindu Temple Muktinath.
  • Natural flame.
  • World's deepest Gorge Kaligandaki.
  • Spectacular Himalayan panorama.

Jomsom Muktinath Trekking route has been completely destroyed by the road network. Just few years back the route used to be one of the best trail of Annapurna region’s trekking in Nepal. However, graveled road all the way up to Muktinath has diminished the old essence of walking holiday. Unique Adventure International researched to provide old feeling of trekking in this area to great extent. Finally, our travel planners have developed the trekking route consisting of Annapurna Sunrise Trek trail and original Jomsom Trek route. Trekkers will be able to experience natural hot water springs, subtropical, temperate and alpine forests amalgamated with unique culture of Thakali, Magar, Ghale and Tibetan people.

Embark on this journey and get embellished by the beauty of nature present in alluring Annapurna region of Nepal.  Jomsom Muktinath Trekking route usually starts from Beni of Myagdi district. However, after start of bus service from Beni to Muktinath the trail has lost its tranquil aspect. Therefore, we will take different route from Ghorepani Poon Hill area. Journey is similar to Annapurna Sunrise Trek until trekkers reach Poon Hill. Upon experiencing the Himalayan sunrise trekkers descend to Tatopani via Ghorepani. Green lush forests and scattered village of Brahmins and Chhetris are seen on the way. Enjoy dip in hot warm natural spring. We will trek on the graveled road with occasional shortcuts through suspension bridges. Rupse Waterfall and Kaligandaki River will undoubtedly make your walking blissful. The village of Marpha which is famous for local apple drink is one of the largest villages on this area. Once you reach Muktinath the landscape and house designs completely changes. Barren Himalayan landscape appears. The temple of Muktinath has 108 taps and 2 ponds. Offer your prayers and behold the relation between culture and nature. Mt. Neelgiri on the background is definitely a heavenly experience to gather. Jomsom Muktinath Trekking returns back to Jomsom for the flight to Pokhara.

Book the Jomsom Muktinath Trekking in Nepal with Unique Adventure International. We understand the culture of Thakali and Tibetan people much better than rest of the trekking agencies of Kathmandu. Our research based itinerary and high degree of experience will definitely aspire to make momentous walking holiday in Nepal.
