Until the early 17th cetury, Bhutan existed as a patchwork of minor warring fiefdoms. The area was unified by the Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Guided by a prophecy, he fled religious persecution in Tibet and cultivated a separate Bhutanese identity. Based on a survey, Business Week magazine rated Bhutan as the happiest country of Asia in 2006 which ranks her as the eighth-happiest in the world.

Day 04 : Visit the Punakha Dzong and drive back to Paro. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Transfer to airport and departure to your own destination.
