Shalu Nartang Trek

  • Shalu Nartang Trek

Overview

Shalu Nartang Trek can be started from both Shigatse and Gyantse. It is one of the adventurous treks in Tibet that crosses two soft and dry passes -- Showa-la and Char-la. Our journey starts with drive to Shalu Monastery that traverses upper Longsang, Ngor Monastery and walk downhill slog to Nartang Monastery. En route we pass through the  several villages and isolated dry canyons.
