Overview

Tibet is the land with diverse topological feature ranging from dry flat landscape to highest peaks. Due to this feature Tibet is considered as the perfect destination for mountain biking. Mountain biking tour along the challenging trail form Lhasa to Kathmandu is a an ultimate biking experience. The mountain biking tour is the worlds longest and deepest mountain bike descend that passes across the roof of the world- the Tibetan Plateau into the valley of Sun Koshi covering 1100km of distance and crossing six major passes of altitude over 5000mtrs. Our trip follows the route parallel and westward to the Himalayan range.

The bikers have an opportunity to touch the majestic attractions of Tibetan plateau, its surrounding, spectacular monastery, towns and ancient settlements. Sherpa staff and Land Cruisers (4 wheel drive) from Unique Adventure International support you throughout your journey from Lhasa to Zhangmu. On the final day your biking tour concludes with few hours’ drive from Zhangmu to Kathmandu. 

Itinerary Details

Day 01 : After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu representative form Unique Adventure International receives you and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing on different world heritage sites around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Guided Sightseeing around Lhasa city.  Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Guided Sightseeing around Lhasa city. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Cycling Lhasa to Chusul (distance 97km)

Day 07: Cycling Chusul to Nakartse 4775m (distance 74km)
