Mt. Kailash trek via Simikot

Overview

The trip begins by airways from Kathmandu to Nepalganj and continues to Simikot. After Simikot, we trek to Hilsa and drive to the Lake Manasarovar across widely spread open spaces of the Tibetan Plateau. Then we make our most fascinating trip to Mt. Kailash and follow the track across vast arid plains for Nepalese border lies to the south. Finally, we take the trip back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu international airport, Transfer to Hotel.

Day 02 - 03 : Stay in Kathmandu for official procedure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 : Fly to Nepalgunj. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05 : Fly to Simikot [2960m] and start trek to Dhara Pokhari [2300m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 06 : Trek to Salli Khola [2700m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 07 : Trek to Muchu [2920m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 08 : Rest day

Day 09 : Trek to Sipsip [4330m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 10 : Trek to Hilsa [3720m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 11 : Trek to Taklakot [3930m], drive to Manasarovar [4560m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 12 : Manasarovar. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 13 : Drive to Tarboche [4750m] . Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 14 : Trek to Dira-puk. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 15 : Trek to Zutul-puk [4790m] . Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 16 : Trek to Darchen [4560m] . Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 17 : Drive to Paryang [4750m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 18 : Drive to Saga [4600m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 19 : Drive to Peiko-Tso. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 20 : Drive to Zhangmu [2300m]. Overnight at tented camp/ lodge.

Day 21 : Drive to Kathmandu [1400m]. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 22 : Final Departure to your own destination
