We went to Mustang in 2008 with Unique Adventure International Trekking. Ron and I spent a lot of time looking through the websites of the various operators that arranged Mustang tours and selected Unique Trekking primarily because they gave us the best and most complete answers to our questions.
Mustang is quite a unique trek. I don't know how much experience you have of Nepal, but this trip is quite different from the standard treks you might have been on before.
To begin with you are in solitude. About 1,000 permits a year are issued for Mustang entry, and during the nearly three weeks we were there we came across only three other trekking parties after entering Upper Mustang at Kagbeni.
