| Biking and Climbing Chulu Far East Trekking Peak (6059m) |
If you are looking for a biking adventure with the difference and the chance to climb ‘Chulu Far East’ Himalayan peak in Nepal, then check out our exciting, exhilarating and stimulating trips. Unique Adventure International Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. has specially designed biking and climbing expedition in one of the most exotic and well- known trails of the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. The trip features challenging biking route that takes the bikers off road, over mountain ranges, through river gorge and across breathtaking landscape from tropical terrain to Himalayan altitude with plenty of difficult ascents and wild descents.
We start biking trip from Besisahar in the fertile middle hills, following the trail until we reach Yak Kharka (4000m). From here the trail is very steep up to the base camp of Chulu East. We spend overnight on a rocky platform of the base camp and prepare for the next day morning climb to the summit along the route which is rocky, icy and very steep. From the top of Chulu East we have great views of Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Pisang Peak, Chulu West and the north side of Himlung Valley. After climbing expedition we head towards Manang where we take a number of excursions amongst the stunning scenery. Next day morning we bike to Thorong La Pass (5416m) and continue our hill ride passing through an ancient temple – Muktinath and Jomsom, a desert -like barren place where we halt for a day for exploration around. |
