Around Kathmandu Valley Trek

Hiking around Kathmandu Valley is a fantastic experience. Besides its easy accessiblity very few people entertain this hiking trail. Hiking here is a rich insight into the lives, history, culture and religion of its inhabitants. The trail mostly passes shivapuri watershed forests and villages during trekking time. Shivapuri hill (2729m) is the highest point of this hiking. From the top of Shivapuri once can see western mountains Manaslu, Boudha himal, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Dorjeelakpa, Shisapangma and Gaurishankar. In short we can see more than 60 peaks from here. And other mountains can be seen and Nagarkot is the end point of this trek which is a popular view point from where you can see terrace, river and sceneries of beautiful green hills.

Day 01 : Kathmandu – Kakani by drive and walk up to High hill and camp

Day 02 : Hike to Shivapuri hill

Day 06 : Drive by bus Dhulikhel – Kathmandu
