Dudh Kunda Trekking

A 10 Day trek to Dudh Kunda passes through Kaku, Basa, Taksindu and Beni taking you through dense forests of rhododendron and a variety of wildlife. Dudh Kunda (literally means milky lake) is believed to be a holy lake and the locals believe that taking a dip in the holy water will have the wishes granted. Dudh Kunda Trekking is one of the popular trekking trips of Nepal.

Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel

Day 02 : Fly to Phaplu and trek to Chayalsa, overnight at tented camp

Day 03 : Trek to Kaku, overnight at tented camp

Day 04 : Trek to Khastap, overnight at tented camp

Day 05 : Trek to Trek to Nunthala, overnight at tented camp

Day 06 : Trek to Sarkari Pati, overnight at tented camp

Day 07 : Trek to Beni, overnight at tented camp

Day 08 : Trek to Dudh Kunda, overnight at tented camp

Day 09 : Trek to Taksindu Pass, overnight at tented camp

Day 10 : Trek to Phaplu, overnight at tented camp

Day 11 : Fly back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel

Day 12 : Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination

The price covers the following services

• Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast as per the programme.

• Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) with hot beverage and snacks whilst on trekking.

• Cosy guesthouse accommodation whilst on trekking.

• An experienced fluent English speaking guide trained and licenced by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation.
