Our CSR

In the year 1953, the successful summit of Mt. Sagarmatha (Everest) propelled Nepal onto the global stage as an attractive destination for adventure and nature enthusiasts. Since then, trekking and mountaineering have emerged as the country's major natural tourism products, earning unparalleled fame and allure. Despite periods of political instability over the past decade, the Nepalese tourism industry has displayed remarkable resilience, sustaining growth and radiating rays of hope for the future.

Tourism, a multifaceted endeavor aimed at attracting visitors to a geographical region, receiving them, and satisfying their demands, is a particularly complex and fragile industry. It encompasses a diverse array of activities, from residential services and transportation to offerings at both the origin and destination points. These components overlap and function in a delicate interplay, influencing one another's success.

Tourism is a non-isolated economic phenomenon that encompasses all investment, production, distribution, and consumption activities undertaken in the process of attracting, receiving, and satisfying visitor demand. While it holds immense potential for growth and development, it also carries the risk of overdevelopment, accompanied by significant economic, social, cultural, environmental, and human costs.

At Unique Adventure International, we believe in the concept of corporate social responsibility—the notion that we should be accountable to our society, its stakeholders, and all economic and environmental components within which we conduct our business activities. We follow a comprehensive set of policies to address the company's responsibility towards society:

- We organize our trips in an environmentally acceptable manner, minimizing our ecological footprint.
- We diligently choose accommodations that align with our values of sustainability and responsible tourism.
- We carefully assess destinations, ensuring that our activities do not adversely impact local communities or their way of life.
- We actively involve local communities, fostering a symbiotic relationship that benefits both parties.
- We pay fair and appropriate wages, salaries, and fees, promoting ethical labor practices.
- We respect labor standards, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our employees.
- We operate in a culture of partnership and transparency, building trust and fostering open communication.
