Island Trekking Peak (6160m.), one of the most famous and certainly most invigorating trekking peaks in Nepal and in the whole world is also named as Imja Tse peak. Imja Tse will enthrall you with its fabulous scenery and most appreciably, you will get a standardized viewpoint to watch the world's uppermost peak- Mount Everest. Magnificent panorama of immense Himalayas like Lhotse (8,501m.), Nuptse (7,879m.), Lhotse Shar (8,383m.), Makalu (8475m.), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m.) in the east, Amadablam and Baruntse in the south welcomes you as you reach the Imja Tse Peak. Lobuche Peak actually includes two different summits, East (6119m.) and West (6145m.). An uninterrupted edge links them but there is a significant distance between these two peaks. The east is identified as a trekking peak while the west is regarded as an expedition. Lobuche East Peak, an eye-catching trekking peak offers a range of existing routes as well as new ones. Lobuche East is ascended by moving down a marked notch and walking up steeply from snowy slopes to the top. The ecstatic moments that you will capture after scaling one of the famous Peaks in the Everest region - Lobuche East will grab your attention for ever. Mt. Everest, Mt. Thamserku, Khumbu Glacier, Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu; different community with large number of Sherpa and splendid Himalayan landscapes and old monastery are the major fascination of the trek.

Another ideal trekking destinations is Annapurna Base Camp which lies at an elevation of 4130m. And it is located in the North-central region of Nepal. You can decide on to go for this trek during autumn or spring and while trekking you will be staying at guest house or tented camp. . Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Meeting upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport by our representative, transfer to hotel

As soon as you arrive, you will be welcomed by our representative of Unique Adventure at Kathmandu International Airport but reassure about our representative with a display board at the arrival gate. You will be then taken to the hotel where you can either relax in the afternoon or hang around. You will have a dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant where we take pleasure in a Nepalese cultural program as well. We will be staying in a hotel for overnight.

 

Day 02 : Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure, overnight at hotel

After having breakfast in the morning, optionally we can go for sightseeing tour. The Swayambhunath (the Monkey temple), Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath; Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square are the main sightseeing attractions in Kathmandu valley which are rich in art and architecture. Or we will have a final preparations, official procedure and short briefing for the trek. We will stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03 : Fly to Lukla and start trek to Phakding (2610m.). Overnight at lodge

Today, we will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2827m.), witnessing a breathtaking view as we fly analogous to the enormous Himalayan bordering China and Nepal. We will land at a run way after around 40 minutes. The trek starts with a trouble-free walking downward to the Dudh Kosi River, where we connect the major route to Namche Bazaar. After passing via the small community of Ghat (2550m.), we reach at Phakding. Overnight at guest house.

Day 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m.). Overnight at lodge

Today we set off from Phakding and walk further on a small way up to Jorsale we get in front of a waterfall. Now, the trails villages are united with superb forest of giant firs, rhododendron and magnolia trees. Then, we walk to Namche crossing few bridges and climb a few hundred meters, a perpendicular drop and one steeper climb all the way through the forest. Overnight at guest house in Namche bazaar.

Day 05 : Rest in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization (day walk to Khunde and Khumjung), overnight at lodge

We have a rest day today to become familiar at a elevated height in Namche Bazar. Namche is a accepted village positioned in a great sheltered hollow. On top of the village, there lies the national park headquarters where one can take the chance to view both the gripping sunrise and sunset views. The amazing panorama includes excellent scenery of the Khumbu peaks and impressive views of Everest. After breakfast, optionally, we can either go for a hike towards Thami (3810m.) over the eye-catching Bhote Khola River Valley or go to the national park headquarters to view the exclusive Sherpa lifestyle and mores.

Day 06 : Trek to Tyangboche (3887m.). Overnight at lodge

Today, we move downward through the area from Khumjung and halt for coffee and cake at the local bakery. We do this before we move toward the major track to Everest at Shanasa. Along our way, we can gaze upon the Danphe Pheasant and Himalayan Thar. After that, we keep continuing our track to Trashinga and then go down to cross the Dudh Koshi at Phunkitenga (3250m.) where will be stopping by for our lunch. In the daylight, we make a broad climb through fir, black juniper, pine and Rhododendron forest towards Tengboche Monastery. Not only the usual scenario but we can also get a glance of different other peaks and many more. We will be staying overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 07 : Trek to Dingboche (4410m.). Overnight at lodge.

Today, we visit the monastery ahead of moving down through forest of birch, juniper, fir and rhododendron till we reach Debouche. Then we have only steady climbs, but because of the elevation we require to increase our swiftness gradually. After going across the Imja Khola, the path moves further to the village of Pangboche. Here we can see the striking peak of Ama Dablam. In the afternoon, our path climbs through open alpine hills before crossing the Imja Khola again and reach to our guest house in the settlement of Dingboche.

Day 08 : Trek to Chhukung (4730m.). Overnight at lodge

Today, we hike towards Chhukhung Valley. Chhukhung Valley is located unwaveringly under an incredible rock wall which links Nuptse with Lhotse. From here, we will be having fabulous views of Amadablam (6,856m.) which is also titled the most photographed mountain in Nepal. Overnight at a lodge.

Day 09 : Climb Chhukung Ri (5550m.) and back to Chhukung. Overnight at lodge

Today, we hike towards Chhukhung Valley. Chhukhung Valley is located unwaveringly under an incredible rock wall which links Nuptse with Lhotse. From here, we will be having fabulous views of Amadablam (6,856m.) which is also titled the most photographed mountain in Nepal. Overnight at a lodge.

Day 10 : Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (4970m.). Overnight at tented camp

We will start ascending early to arrive at the summit and our route now gets complex once we arrive at the foot of the pointed icefall below the peak. Great care has to be taken while ascending the wall to reach on the edge which leads to the summit. After getting to the summit, you will move down to the Imja Tse Base Camp.

Day 11 : Stay at Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp

We has set aside a day at the base camp just not to mess up our schedule because of bad day weather. Overnight again at tented camp.

Day 12 : Ascent High Camp of Island Peak. Overnight at tented camp

Ascending from the base camp we will reach to the Island Peak High Camp (5600m.). From this point, we can see semicircle view of cliffs that go up in the north to the rocky peaks of Nuptse (7,879m.), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m.), Lhotse (8,501m.) and Lhotse Shar (8,383m.). To the east, we will view the iced up waves of the Lhotse Shar Glacier above which towers Cho Polu (6,734m.) and we will also witness Makalu (8,475m.). From the south of the Imja glacier, we will be rewarded by Baruntse (7,720m.) and Ama Dablam (6,856m.). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 13 : Summit Island Peak (6160m.) and back to Base Camp

In the early morning, we will begin our climbing to arrive at the summit. Our trail will get complicated once we reach the bed of the pointed icefall beneath the peak. In order to succeed, great caution must be implemented while balancing the barrier to approach out on the rim leading to the summit. After we reach the summit, we will be back to the Base Camp.

Day 14 : Trek to Dingboche, overnight at lodge

Today, we trek to high peak walking around stunning Imja Khola Valley. Dingboche is located in a hop hedge of little ground bounded by stone wall defensive crops of potatoes and barley. Overnight at guest house in Dingboche.

Day 15 : Trek to Lobuche. Overnight at lodge

Keep on trek along the moraine of the glacier; with the views of kala Patthar (5,545m.) and Mt. Pumori (7,165m.) we hike today high above the Pheriche village. Pretty normal day today takes about 4 hours walking. Important day also for accommodation, Rest of the day we may take simple hike around.

Day 16 : Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakhshep. Overnight at lodge.

Day 17 : Climb Kalapatthar early in the morning and trek to Lobuche East Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.

Hiking up the Kalapatthar, we will make a vertical climb which allows us to view the Everest Peak continuously. Not only this, we can also view other mountains like Pumori (7,145m.), lingtren (6,697m.) and Khumbutse (6,623m.). These mountains divide us from Tibet and just over the Lho La Pass, we can observe the large face of Changtse (7,750m.). Then, we will trek toward the Lobuche Base Camp. After trekking some distance on moderately flatter plane, the trail to the Lobuche Base Camp gets more vertical and rocky. We will walk ahead along the Lobuche Glacier where we can enjoy the grand views of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pokalde, Thamserku etc.

Day 18 : Rest day at Base Camp, overnight at tented camp

We have another rest day today and make essential preparation for moving to the peak. After having lunch, our guides will give training on mountain climbing, few techniques and tell you how to use climbing gears like ice axe, harness, climbing boot, jummer etc. Overnight at tented camp

Day 19 : Ascent High Camp of Lobuche East Peak (5400m.). Overnight at tented camp

Today, after breakfast we move from Lobuche Base Camp to reach at the Lobuche High Camp which takes around 4 hours. The High camp is situated at 5,600m. From the base camp, we trek on a rocky moraine trail to arrive at the high camp. After we reach at the high camp, we install our camp. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 20 : Summit day on Lobuche East Peak (6119m.) and back to Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp

Today is our cherished day for the summit. We start early in the morning for the summit endeavour. Lobuche east offers more panoramic views of the mountains that other popular peaks such as Island Peak. Once upon the Lobuche summit, you would enjoy magnifiscently panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pumori, and many more. We spend some time at the summit celebrating and taking pictures, then we get back to the Base Camp again.

Day 21 : Trek to Dzongla (4840m). Overnight at lodge.

Day 22 : Trek to Thangnak (4695m.) after crossing Cho La Pass (5380m.). Overnight at lodge

Today, we descend to the lake and move further downward to the glacier. The trail crosses the glacier which is marked by cairns. After crossing Chola Pass, we walk for 2 hours today. And overnight at Lodge.

Day 23 : Trek to Gokyo (4755m.). Overnight at lodge

On this day we hike observing the lakes at Gokyo which pours down to the western division of the Ngozumpa Glacier. We go diagonally through the three outstanding lakes and traverse the third lake, Dudh Pokhari and on the East bank we can mark the community of Gokyo. Walking beside the lake, you will discern the view of splendid summits of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang. We will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 24 : Climb to Gokyo Ri (5420m.) and descend to Machhermo (4400m.). Overnight at lodge

Today we begin trekking early taking about 2 hours to reach Gokyo Ri for striking sunrise view over Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam and other several huge peaks. And the sight perceptible from here is superior to the image from Kala Patthar. Overnight in Gokyo at lodge.

Day 25 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m.). Overnight at lodge

Today, we will walk beside the river and, after coming across we make our way up through birch and rhododendron forest to Thyangboche. From Thyangboche, we move down to the bridge above the DudhKoshi at Phunki Tenga and then we return back to Namche. We walk for around 5 hours. Tonight at guest house in Namche.

Day 26 : Trek to Lukla. Overnight at lodge

After having our breakfast, go back over the major road down to Dudh Koshi retracing to Phakding. Following the track, we arrive at Lukla scaling different Sherpa villages crossing a suspension bridge above Thado Koshi. For about 45 minutes, we go up to accomplish the whole trail and we reconfirm flight ticket and see off to local porters.

Day 27 : Fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

After travelling for 35 minutes, we fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla in the morning and move back to the hotel. Rest of the day we can lighten up.

Day 28 : Drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel

After breakfast, we leave Kathmandu and drive for 6 hours we travel to Pokhara by tourist bus, or car depending upon the number in your group. You will be walking through exciting panorama of river and landscape. On the other hand, you might take a flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu which takes half an hour. Then, you will get into the hotel and you relax in the afternoon on your own. You can visit around lakeside region or you can go for boating at Fewa Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 29 : Drive to Phedi and start trek to Tolka. Overnight at lodge

After breakfast, we leave Kathmandu and drive for 6 hours we travel to Pokhara by tourist bus, or car depending upon the number in your group. You will be walking through exciting panorama of river and landscape. On the other hand, you might take a flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu which takes half an hour. Then, you will get into the hotel and you relax in the afternoon on your own. You can visit around lakeside region or you can go for boating at Fewa Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 30 : Trek to Chhomrong. Overnight at lodge

We then hike to Chhomrong from Tolka today going across the Gurjung village. Chhomrong will bestow you close scenary of Mt. Annapurna south, Himchuli and Fishtail (Machhapuchhre). Tonight at Chhomrong.

Day 31 : Trek to Dovan. Overnight at lodge

We come across the bridge then go up to Sinuwa Danda. The trail comes transversely to thick rhododendron forest taking to Khuldighar. After that, we move down a lengthy and vertical stone steps into bamboo and rhododendron jungles through which we arrive at Doban. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 32 : Trek to Deurali. Overnight at lodge

We move early morning and witness the wonderful sunrise over the peaks from Annapurna Base Camp. Then, we move down from Annapurna Base Camp through Deurali, Dovan and eventually reach Bamboo. We gradually, walk down to reach the valley where we again see the waterfalls that pours down from a high above. Tonight, we stay in Deurali at guesthouse.

Day 33 : Trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight at lodge

We begin trekking up to Machhapuchhre base camp (3900m.) and then proceed to Annapurna base camp. The area is encircled by the peaks and is recognized as Annapurna Sanctuary. This set gives you an impressive view of huge peaks including Annapurna I, Barah Shikhar, Annapurna South and many other giant peaks.

Day 34 : Trek to Chhomrong. Overnight at lodge

Leaving Dovan we have a vertical way up to the Kuldi Ghar then Sinuwa, following the stone steps that take us to Lower Chhomrong. After that, we ascend on the stony steps that lead us to Upper Chhomrong. Overnight at lodge.

Day 35 : Trek to Ghandrung. Overnight at lodge

We today will trek to Ghandruk which is a vast village where you will observe the H.Q. of Annapurna Conservation Project, hold out admirable sights of Annapurna South, Himalchuli and Machhapuchhre. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 36 : Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel

Today, we arrive at Syauli bazaar and then go up to Birethanti. Walking further for around an hour from Birethanti we will reach Naya Pul. From Naya Pul, we retrace our steps back taking a locally available vehicle and arrive at Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 37 : Drive to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel

Passing all the way through the striking surroundings early in the morning and travelling for 7 hours we return back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu you will be transferred to the hotel and rest of the day rest or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.

Day 38 : Leisure day in Kathmandu, overnight at hotel

Today you have a rest day in Kathmandu. There will be possibilities of flight cancel or delay by the weather so we require keeping one extra day. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 39 : Transfer to airport, departure onward destination

Today, our airport representative will drop you to the airport and then you will depart from Nepal.
