Journey to world’s highest situated lake at an altitude of 4919 m the Tilicho Lake Trek is ultimate adventure walking holiday. Lots of trekking agencies based in Nepal have added the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake attached. However, during this way of trekking trekkers might feel very tired and physically it can be very demanding. Therefore, the travel planners of Unique Adventure International created the itinerary starting from Humde route rather than Besisahar route. Upon doing this, trekkers can reach this iconic place of alluring Annapurna trekking in less than 10 days.

Tilicho Lake Trek starts with the scenic flight to Humde. This is very small hilly airstrip which is not crowded as in Jomsom or Lukla. The scenery of villages, forests, fields and mountains seen from the flight is really an awesome delight to capture before walking starts. Trekkers get to Pisang and ultimately to Manang Village via Ngawal. These villages are habituated by Mananges with their own unique culture and traditions. The journey from this place is of high altitude. Therefore, proper acclimatization is highly required. During acclimatization trekkers will travel to nearby monasteries and villages. Understanding the culture, traditions and rituals of these people along with capturing captivating scenery of mountainous landscape are the activities of acclimatization day. Journey then heads to Tilicho Base Camp via Khangsar Village. Base camp is the last human settlement on this trail to Tilicho Lake. Trekkers will hike to Tilicho Lake and again return back to base camp for overnight. The lake is amazingly placed surrounded by Himalayas and rocks. Take as many pictures as possible to record such a legendary event of your life. Get inspired because you will be at the shore of world’s highest situated lake. Trekkers will eventually travel back to Humde for flight to Kathmandu.

Book the Tilicho Lake Trek with Unique Adventure International and explore this place in magnificent way. With us the itinerary is different and experience is very unique. Off the beaten trails can be experienced with us and impeccable hospitality is guaranteed.
