Overview

The unique play of Yak like sniffing the ground and pressing the horns against rock are watchful sights found in Chomolhari trek. The trek provides an exposure of magnificent landscapes, rural community engraved with outstanding culture as well as close view of stupendous peaks. The wide variety of vegetation with rare species of animals like blue sheep and others are the chief exposure of the trek. The trek is led through Drugyal dzong passing.

Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Arrival at Paro, transfer to hotel.

Day 02 : Hike to Taktsang monastery, overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Drive to Drugyel Dzong and start trek to Shana camp, overnight at camp.

Day 04 : Trek to Thangthangkha, overnight at camp.

Day 05 : Trek to Janggothang, overnight at camp.

Day 06 : Acclimatization at Jangothang, overnight at camp.

Day 07 : Trek to Lingshi, overnight at camp.

Day 08 : Trek to Shodu, overnight at camp.

Day 09 : Trek to Barshong, overnight at camp.

Day 10 : Trek to Dodina and drive to Thimpu, overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Sightseeing at Thimpu and drive to Paro, overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Transfer to airport and departure to your own destination.
