| Adventure Tibet tour – Drive In/Fly Out |
| The trip begins by drive from Kathmandu to
Nyalam. Then we make our most fascinating tour to explore around
Tingri, Xigatse, Gyantse, Tsedang and Lhasa to observe its
cultural heritage across widely spread open spaces of the
Tibetan Plateau. Finally, we take the trip back to Kathmandu
from Lhasa by fly. This is truly the trip of a lifetime with
stunning scenery and cultural highlights. |

| Itinerary Details |
Days 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International
airport (1300meters) by our representative, transfer
to Hotel |
Days 02 : Drive to Nyalam (3700meters) - 156KM, overnight
at guest house
Early in the morning, we drive to KODARI (Nepal
- Tibet border) crossing through the beautiful
landscapes. After finished necessary border
formalities at the immigration, we follow the
adventurous uphill drive an hour to Chinese
immigration and continue drive to Nyalam. |
Days 03 : Drive to Tingri (4300meters) - 225KM, overnight
at guest hotel
Today, we drive up hill to the highest plateau
on earth with the views of Tibetan plateau offering
sheer of standing on the roof of the world crossing
over LALUNG LA pass (5050meters). If the weather
will be permitting us, the panoramic views of
beautiful Himalayan ranges of Mt. CHO OYU
(8201meters) & SHISHAPANGMA (8013meters). We can
enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8848meters)
from Tingri. |
Days 04 : Drive to Xigatse (3900m) - 244KM, overnight at
guest house
Today, we continue drive to Xigatse crossing
over GYATCHU LA pass (5220meters), the highest pass
en route to Lhasa via Lhatse. The road to MT.
KAILASH divide to the west from here. |
Days 05 : Drive to Gyantse (3950m) - 90KM, overnight at
hotel
Today, we will visit to PANCHEN LAMA'S
TASHILHUMPHU MONASTERY in the morning. We then drive
to GYANTSE and visit to the PHALKOR MONASTERY &
KUMBUM STUPA. |
Days 06 : Drive to Lhasa (3650m) - 261KM, overnight at
hotel
The day will begins with picturesque drive
crossing over KARO LA (5010meters), KAMBA LA
(4794meters) and passing through colourful YAMDROK
LAKE as well as BRAMHA PUTRA (YARLUNG TSANGPO)
river. |
Days 07 - 08 : Exploring Lhasa, overnight at hotel
We will spent two full days sightseeing in Lhasa
city including BHARKHOR BAZAAR, POTALA PALACE,
JOKHANG TEMPLE, SERA & DEPRUNG MONASTERIES. |
Days 09 : Fly back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel
We drive to GONGGAR airport early in the morning
and fly back to Kathmandu. |
Days 10 : Transfer to airport, departure on your own
destination. |
