Mustang is a miniature mountain valley engulfed by mountains in the Himalayas of Nepal, with border of Tibet in its north. Mustang's culture has moved down in its pure form from the Red Hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Mustang is only the place where one can see the living Tibetan tradition in 21st century. Your trek to Lo-Manthang takes you amidst stunning sculpted rock formations backed by snow-capped peaks. Along the trail unique houses, villages and lifestyle through warm welcome.

The festival 'Tiji' or 'Teechi or Teeji' is celebrated annually in this region for three-days during the days when dry season starts (late spring). This year, the ritual festival occurs on May 29-31 2011. Literally ‘Tiji’ means "The chasing of the Demons" and it is centered on the Tiji myth. Tiji is a celebration and reaffirmation of this myth.
