Arun Valley Trek (12 Days)

This region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Arun valley extends between two highest mountains - Everest and Makalu. It is really a non touristic area but you can see significant views of Mt.Everest, Makalu, and hundreds of other mountains just above your head. Sherpa, Rai and Limbus are the main inhabitants of this region. Walking north up the Arun river to Sedua and Num, then crossing Barun La(4110m.) into the upper Barun khola valley for a close look at Makalu. You can put together even wilder trek by crossing Sherpani col and west col into the upper Hongu valley. The highest point of this trek is Salpa Bhanjyang and also we can visit Hindu called Salpa Pokhari(3414m.).

Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Kathmandu to Tumlingtar by plane and walk up to Kartike ghat then camp at Kartiki ghat.

Day 02 : Trek from Kartike to Gothey, overnight at camp

Day 03 : Trek to Phedi, overnight at camp

Day 04 : Trek to Gurase, overnight at camp

Day 05 : Trek to Sanam, overnight at camp

Day 06 : Trek to Bung, overnight at camp

Day 07 : Trek to Gaikharka, overnight at camp

Day 08 : Trek to Vasme, overnight at camp

Day 09 : Trek to Pangum, overnight at camp

Day 10 : Trek to Painya, overnight at camp

Day 11 : Trek to Lukla, overnight at camp

Day 12 : Lukla to Kathmandu by fly.

After Lukla we can do Everest base camp trek too.

The price covers the following services

• Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara with breakfast as per the programme.
