Helambu Trek

A relatively low altitude trek, the Helambu circuit is one of the most well located of the short treks close to Kathmandu. While most of the trek is at low altitude below 3000m, the high point at Tharepati La pass is 3600m and one can experience snow even during the main trekking seasons.

Itinerary Details

Day 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport (1360meter) Arrival by our representative, transfer to the Hotel

Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Drive to Sundarijal (1460meter) and start trek to Chisapani (2170meter), 1hr drive, 4 hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04 : Trek to Kutumsang (2470meter), 6.30 hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05 : Trek to Tharepati (3510meter), 6.30hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 06 : Trek to Melamchigaon (2530meter), 2.30hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07 : Trek to Tarkeghyang (2740meter), 4hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08 : Trek to Shermathang (2590meter), 4hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09 : Trek to Melamchi Pul (870meter), 5.30hrs walks, overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10 : Drive back to Kathmandu, 5hrs drive, overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Leisure day in Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination

The price covers the following services

• Hotel accommodation in Kathmand with breakfast as per the programme.

• Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) with hot beverage and snacks whilst on trekking.

• Cosy guesthouse accommodation whilst on trekking.

• An experienced fluent English speaking guide, trained and licenced by Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation.

Langtang trek has been a wonderful experience for me, and I have enjoyed every minute!! The scenery is so beautiful and breathtaking; it was very hard to come back to Kathmandu, to all the noise and so many people!! Didn't think I would be able to walk so far as far so long, but day-by-day I got better and stranger and felt quite fit at the end! At Last I had a good guide who carried as bag and took me along the interesting track! I recommend this trek to anyone who want to experience Nepal!
