Day 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International
Airport by our representative, transfer to hotel. |
Day 02 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, overnight at
hotel. |
Day 03 : Drive to Khudi (792meter), overnight at
Guesthouse, 7hrs drive.
After having breakfast you will board
your transport and start the drive to Khudi. This
drive can take up to 6/7 hours. Your
adventure vacation truly starts at the moment you reach
Dumre. Drive up to the Marsyangdi river valley to
Besisahar and continue to Khudi. The drive from
Bensisahar to Khudi is seasonal. Your first day’s
overnight stop will be at Khudi. |
Day 04 : Trek to Bahundanda (1314 meter), overnight at
Guesthouse, 15KM
The trail continues north above the Marsyangdi river
after crossing bridge. The changes in the valley’s
ecosystem and its physical characteristics become
evident now. Himalchuli is the major summit to the
east. Crossing the river to its east bank you pass
through the village of Bhulbhule and heading north
continue past Ngadi (930 m.) to the ridge top
settlement of Bahundanda (1311 m). The name of this
village literally means “Brahmin Hill”. |
Day 05 : Trek to Chyamje (1400 meter), overnight at
Guesthouse, 12KM
Today, we descend to the
valley floor and then, crossing the river, climb
steeply out of it to follow a trail beautifully
carved out to the rock wall of the valley. We will
reach Syange passing through Khani Gaon and Ghermu
Phant. We then continue walk to Chyamje along the
west bank of the Marsyangdi River through the
village of Jagat where you will cross the river to
its eastern bank to enter the Manang District at the
village of Tal. |
Day 06 : Trek to Dharapani (1943 meter), overnight at
Guesthouse, 12KM
As you head up, you will begin to notice
the changes in the people as well as the landscapes,
culture and architecture. There
is a concentration of people of Tibetan origin, Rock
built houses, less tropical vegetation and the
predominantly Tibetan Culture. The trail from Tal
crosses the Marshyangdi River to its west bank after
Karte Village and continuous towards the village of
Dharapani. |
Day 07 : Trek to Chame (2713 meter), overnight at
Guesthouse, 15KM
Today, you continue up the River valley past the
Gurung Village Thonje to Bagarchhap. Continuing walk
along the left bank, climb up the heavily wooded
Manang valley past small settlements with
outstanding views of Mt. Manaslu (8163 meter) and the
peaks above Larkya La. As Chame is district administration center of Manang district, has facility of bank. |
Day 08 : Trek to Pisang (3185 meter), overnight at
Guesthouse, 16KM
We have to walk along the trail which is properly not maintained up to Chame. Passing through forest of Pine,
Juniper, over fairly level ground through Bhratang
village. The village too has an entrance and an exit
CHHORTEN like all the villages have after Dharapani. An
excellent view of Annapurna II can be seen to south
as you are now behind the main Himalayan peaks in
their rain shadow area.
You will enter a spruce and fir forest which
eventually gives way to a pine forest after crossing
a series of wooden cantilever
bridges. |
Day 09 : Trek to Manang (3540meter), overnight at guesthouse. |
Day 10 : Acclimatization at Manang (day hike to Chonkor View
Point - 3800meter and to the monastery), overnight
at guesthouse. |
Day 11 : Trek to Yak Kharka (4000meter), overnight at
guesthouse. |
Day 12 : Trek to Thorong Phedi / high camp (4500meter /
4700meter), overnight at guesthouse. |
Day 13 : Trek to Muktinath (3800meter) after crossing Thorong La pass
- 5416meter, overnight at guesthouse. |
Day 14 : Trek to Jomsom (2800meter), overnight at guesthouse. |
Day 15 : Fly to Pokhara/ Drive to Beni, overnight
at hotel. |
Day 16 : Drive to Pokhara, overnight
at hotel. |
Day 17 : Exploring around Pokhara valley, overnight at hotel.
This day, we will
visit most of the
popular
destination of
Pokhara including
Devid's fall (Patale Chango), Cave,
World Peace Stupa,
and join boating
at Lake
Phewa. |
Day 18 : Back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel. |
Day 19 : Leisure day at Kathmandu, overnight at hotel. |
Day 20 : Transfers to airport, departure on your own destination. |
