Salpa pass is situated on the Makalu region
just above Arun valley towards Lukla. The pass gives good views
of the mountains to the north. The scenery along the trail
ranges from mixed farming land and scattered Sherpa and Rai
settlements to stand of forest including rhododendron and oak
forest. |
