| Picturesque Tour |
The tour from Darjeeling to Kalimpong consists
of different attractive as well as exciting views of hilly
areas, tea garden, Monasteries and the most fantastic view of
rising sun over Kanchenjunga. Besides, we explore the way from
Martam to Gangtok.
During 8 Day of our tour, first we fly to Bhadrapur and take a
direct bus to Darjeeling. The second day we stay in Darjeeling
and explore Tiger Hill to view the rising sun early morning. The
rising sun is clearly viewed when the weather is clear. At the
same time, we explore Ghoom Monastery, Batasay Loop, Padmaja
Naidu Himalayan zoological park, Tibetan Refugee camp, tea
estate and other interesting places. The third day we leave
Darjeeling for Martam and from Martam, the next day, we proceed
for Gangtok having sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery, Kanchanjunga
view point, Sikkim Research Institute, Directorate of Handicraft
and Drul-Chorten. The fifth day we travel 135 km far to
Pemayantse. Finally, we finish our trip with exploring Buddhists
monasteries, Mountain Lake, Yuksom, Chogyal and others from
Kalimpong. |
